About the “Hybrid” Komaba Festival

Depending on the infection status of COVID-19, changes may occur to the hosting style of the festival. Please check the latest information on this website, our official Twitter, and our official Facebook page.
What is the “Hybrid” Komaba Festival?
Projects will be released both on campus and online. You can have fun on the campus like before and also enjoy the festival online from the comfort of your home. When you enter the Komaba Campus, please follow the measures against COVID-19. Please have a look at " Measures against COVID-19 " for details.
Can I enter the Komaba I Campus freely during the festival?
For measures against COVID-19, we are to limit the number of people visiting the Komaba Campus. Therefore, you must make a reservation in advance to enter the campus. Please have a look at " Advance Reservation" for details.
Can I eat or drink on campus?
At the " Eating Space ", you can eat or drink what you buy at the food stalls. In addition, Cafeteria Wakaba will be open during the festival (The number of people entering there might be restricted) . You can re-enter the campus, so feel free to use restaurants outside the campus.
What is the reservation to enter the Komaba Campus?
During the 73rd Komaba Festival, reservations are required to enter the campus. For measures against COVID-19, we are to limit the number of people visiting the Komaba Campus. You can make reservations from October 22nd (Sat.) 3 PM to October 30th (Sun.) 9 PM. If the number of applications exceeds the limit, whether you can enter the campus will be determined by a lottery.

Do priority entrance reservations for UT students apply to their family members?
Sorry, but no. Only UT students themselves can make a reservation in advance of general visitors. Other people, including their family members, need to book for entry during the period of reservations (from October 22nd (Sat.) 3 PM to October 30th (Sun.) 9 PM).

About Facilities and Services

When and where can I get the official pamphlet of the Komaba Festival?
We will hand out one pamphlet per group at the Thermo-Station near the entrance. If you lose it, you can get another one at the Information Center.

Are there any official goods of the Komaba Festival?
Yes. You can buy them at the Goods Shops next to Co-op Store on campus. You can also buy them online from Official Goods website .
Where can I charge my electronic devices?
Sorry, we can’t offer electrical outlets or mobile chargers. You will have to use electronic devices when you enter the campus, participate in some official projects, and so on. We kindly ask you to charge your electronic devices enough before leaving home.
Can I walk around the campus freely?
Yes. However, there are some places where you cannot pass freely (e.g., Thermo-Station and Eating Space). In addition, you cannot enter the buildings where projects are not held.
What should I do when I feel sick?
If you do not feel good, please refrain from visiting the campus. If you suddenly feel sick after entering the campus, please go to the nearest Information Center or talk to the nearest committee member wearing a red uniform. You can receive first aid at Health Service Center.
Where is the lost and found?
When you have lost your belongings during the festival, please visit the nearest Information Center. If your lost property is sent to one of the Information Centers, we will give it back to you. If not, we will contact you later. If you find out that you lost your belongings after leaving the campus, please contact us from here .

About Projects

Do you have any recommended projects?
Yes. Please find highlights and academic projects through the official pamphlet or " Project Search " on this website. You can search projects by typing in keywords.
How can I participate in the Komaba Campus Tour or Rally?
You do not need a reservation to take part in either one. In order to participate in the tour, please visit Campus Tour Reception. In order to participate in the Komaba Campus Rally, please get Campus Rally Book at one of the Information Centers or rally points. After that, please walk around the campus freely.
Are there any projects in which “Komakkero” (the official mascot character of the Komaba Festival) appears?
Yes. Please check " Komakkero " for further information.
How can I participate in the Komaba Grand Prix?
Please have a look at " Komaba Grand Prix " . In addition to the Polling Station at Bldg. 1 Front Rotary, online voting is available. You can score each project online while enjoying various projects.

How can I find the buildings where the projects I would like to enjoy are held?
Please refer to the campus map on the first page of the official pamphlet, and please look at the guide display boards on the campus. If you talk to a committee member wearing a red uniform, the member will take you to your destination.
